Knowing your Moon phases is important, but you know what’s even more so? Knowing your Lunar personality, (if you read that and thought pardon??) then you’re going to enjoy this. Just like you have a Sun-sign or a zodiac sign that was assigned to you the day you were born, the Moon was also high in the sky in a particular phase.
Long has it been said that we can learn things about ourselves based on where the Sun, Moon, planets, and stars were the moment we were born. Now for all our New Mooners, let’s get down to it. When we are in the first lunar phase, the Sun and the Moon have the same ecliptic longitude, in other words, the Moon’s face is not visible to the unaided eye, and although you might be a little disappointed don’t be! This is a really special phase because the Sun and the Moon are lined up perfectly, and that speaks to your mind and heart being in harmony.
Unlike some of the more conflicted lunar signs, you always have a good understanding of not only what you want but also what you need. And one of the things you need is to keep things exciting and continue to always try new things. It makes you happy to never be in a rut and to keep life fresh. It’s been said that without the darkness you could not have the light, and this is very true when it comes to you. Being born in the darkness only prepared the world for your incredible light.
Your creativity, enthusiasm, and kindness are incomparable, and your friends and family are inspired by your passion. A word of caution to our New Moon babes, as you experience bursts of these strong feelings, you may be prone to burning out quicker than other lunar personalities as the Moon’s energy was the weakest when you were born. But with organization, perseverance, and understanding that this can happen to you, we know you will be perfectly fine.
